Lohri & Sankranti Service Drive
Rajni Care Foundation successfully organized a service-oriented social program today at Sant Kripal Ashram, Shivalik Nagar, Haridwar on the auspicious occasion of Lohri and Makar Sankranti. The objective of this event was not merely to celebrate the festivals, but to extend support, security, and compassion to the needy sections of society.
Providing Relief to the Needy During Winter
As part of this service campaign, woolen socks and caps were distributed to approximately 50 people and children, providing them with much-needed protection against the cold weather. Traditional Lohri delicacies such as peanuts, popcorn, rewari, laddoos, and biscuits were also distributed, fostering a sense of participation and camaraderie at the event.
Cultural Participation and Community Engagement
During the program, the Lohri bonfire was lit, and all those present participated by singing cultural songs. This was followed by refreshments and tea, making this service activity even more memorable.
Service is the True Celebration
Rajni Care Foundation firmly believes that no festival is complete without service. Festivals like Lohri and Makar Sankranti provide an opportunity to unite society and fulfill our responsibility towards humanity. This event was conducted with this very spirit.
